Tobias began his career in 2021 as a tax adviser and attorney-at-law at the tax department of De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.

During his time there, Tobias gained extensive experience in cross-border matters, with a particular focus on international transactions and corporate redomiciliations. He regularly advised multinational clients on the tax aspects of complex corporate restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions.

Tobias joined Hamelink & Van den Tooren in June 2025, where he advises both corporate and private clients on a broad range of Dutch and international tax matters. He holds degrees in Tax Law and Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is a member of the Netherlands Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
