Gerwin has extensive experience in advising companies on employment taxes. Gerwin worked for almost 10 years for Loyens & Loeff as a tax advisor in the field of employment taxes.

He advises on a wide range of employment tax matters, such as the qualification of employment relationships, the work-related expenses scheme, tax and social security aspects regarding cross-border employment and the support of taxpayers with tax audits carried out by the Dutch tax authorities. Gerwin has a special interest in procedural (tax) law matters. Since 2022, Gerwin is a self-employed tax advisor

In 2011, Gerwin graduated from in Tax Law and Tax Economics from the University of Groningen. In 2015, Gerwin took part of the module “employment”, part of the Exec. LLM program of the International Tax Center in Leiden.
