Gerben is an experienced and pragmatic independent transfer pricing expert with over 25 years of experience. 

He provides expert advice on a wide range of international tax, transfer pricing, and valuation matters. Gerben is a partner at Ectacon, an independent transfer pricing consulting firm.

Throughout his career, Gerben has led and executed numerous transfer pricing projects across various scenarios, including planning, advance pricing agreements, documentation, audit and litigation.

His experience includes developing, analysing, and implementing transfer pricing strategies; addressing operational aspects and practical implications of transfer pricing; providing economic analysis and preparing documentation for compliance, audit and litigation; analysis of financial transactions (including insurance); advice on permanent establishment profit allocation and branch capital allocation; and identification and valuation of intangible assets.

Gerben’s extensive experience enables him to navigate complex transfer pricing challenges effectively, ensuring compliance with international regulations.

Gerben holds a master's degree in Fiscal Economics from Groningen University. He is an active member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB), the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Association of Tax Research (Vereniging voor Belastingwetenschap).
