Robert Wintgens

In 2007, Robert Wintgens started his career in the general international tax practice of Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam. Between April 2011 and November 2014, Robert worked for Loyens & Loeff in Zurich, Switzerland. As of 1 December 2019, Robert joined Hamelink & Van den Tooren as a partner.

Robert advises companies on Dutch and international tax aspects of mergers, demergers, acquisitions, joint-ventures and the (re)structuring of (real estate) investments. In Switzerland, Robert gained extensive experience advising private clients on the tax aspects of their (international) businesses. He focuses on clients  investing in and from the US, Asia-Pacific (mainly Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea), Eastern Europe and Switzerland.

Robert graduated in Fiscal Economics from the University of Amsterdam in 2007. He often gives presentations on Dutch and International tax developments.  He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (NOB), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
